Personal information you disclose to us: We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us. This may include names, email addresses, contact preferences, and contact or authentication data.

Social Media Login Data: If you register using a social media account, we will collect certain profile information from that provider.

Information automatically collected: We automatically collect certain information when you visit our Services, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, and usage data. We also collect information through cookies — see our Cookie Policy.

Google API: Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We process your personal information to deliver services, respond to inquiries, and to save or protect an individual’s vital interest.

If you are in the EU or UK, we rely on Consent, Performance of a Contract, Legal Obligations, and Vital Interests. If you are in Canada, we rely on express or implied consent, with limited exceptions as permitted by law.

We may share your data with third-party vendors who perform services for us, including cloud computing services, data analytics services, data storage providers, user account and authentication services, AI platforms, and website hosting providers. We may also share information in connection with business transfers.

With your express advertising consent, we use the Meta Pixel to measure visits to our public website, new account registrations, checkout starts and confirmed website purchases from our Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta receives advertising cookie and click identifiers, event times, IP address and browser information, and, for purchases, the plan, amount and currency. Meta may link these events to its users and process them in the United States or other countries under its own privacy policy.

We do not send names, email addresses, account IDs, Stripe session IDs, course outlines, grades, course or calendar contents, or Google API data to Meta. Automatic advanced matching and automatic event collection are not used. Payment card details remain with Stripe. Tracking is browser-based; customers who decline consent, use blockers or do not return from checkout may not appear in ad reports.

Advertising measurement is off until you opt in. An earlier choice to accept usage analytics does not opt you into advertising. You can switch it off at Cookie Preferences or in Settings → Privacy and cookies; we stop further advertising events and clear the advertising cookies in this browser. Previously sent events are not recalled. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.

Yes. We offer AI-powered features through third-party providers including OpenAI and Google AI. Your input and output may be processed by these providers to enable the AI features. You must not use our AI products in violation of those providers’ terms.

If you register or log in using a social media account, we receive certain profile information (such as name, email, and profile picture) from that provider. We use this information only as described in this Privacy Notice.

Our servers are located in Canada. Your information may be transferred to and processed in Canada, the United States, or other countries. We take all necessary measures to protect your information in accordance with applicable law, including the use of the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice, and no longer than 2 years unless required by law.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals as no uniform standard has been finalized.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other applicable US states may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. With advertising consent, we share the limited events described in Advertising Measurement with Meta; applicable US law may treat this as sharing for targeted advertising. CalenDue integrates with Google services to provide scheduling features. When you connect your Google Account, we request access to the following scopes: openid, userinfo.email, userinfo.profile, calendar.events, calendar.calendarlist, and calendar.calendars. These are used solely to authenticate you, display your calendars, and sync your academic events.

CalenDue does not use or transfer Google user data for advertising, analytics, or resale. Human access to Google user data is strictly prohibited except with your explicit consent, for security/debugging, or as required by law. You may revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the “Last updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review this notice frequently.
